Q:Whatisareboot?
A:Unpluggingthesettopboxfromtheelectricity.
Whenacustomerneedstodoareboot,allTV’sconnectedtothesettopboxthatisgoingtobe
rebootedshouldbeturnedONbeforethesettopboxisunplugged fromtheelectricity.Once
thesystemcomesbackupmakesureall
streamsareworking,andthenturnoffeachTV.
Q:Whenshouldacustomerdoareboot?
A:Rebootthesystemwhenallothermethodsofresolvingtheissuehavefailed.
B:Rebootthesystemafterthecustomerhasaddedservicessuchaspremiumchannels,DVR
orHD,etc.Therebootwillneedtobedoneafterthenewservicesar
eprovisionedoras
directedbyXIT.
TroubleIssues:
Ifyouexperienceproblemswithanyofyourservices,pleasecontactXITimmediatelytoreport
thetrouble.ItisveryimportantwhenreportingtroublewithyourIPTVservicethatyou
provideasmuchinformationaspossibleabouttheissueyouareexperiencingandplease
providetheCHANNELorCHANNELNUMBERSthatyouarehavingproblemswith.

PictureTiling(‘littleboxes’,digitizing,pixilation)
PictureFreezing
AudioFreezing
ChannelFreezing
VideoStreamFreezing
PoorPictureQuality(snowy,grainy,fuzzy,orblurry)
IPTVSetTopBoxhastoberebootedtoooften
Can’tChangechannels–oftenthisissuecanberesolvedbypressingtheSTBbuttononthe
remote.Thisshouldre‐synctheremotetothesettopbox.Ifthisdoesnotresolvetheissue
