Next Generation
The new N generation of ZyXEL 3000 series APs
features the dual-band NWA3160-N and two dual
band and dual-radio AP’s the NWA3560-N for
internal deployments and the new NWA3550-N
for outdoor applications. All of these business
class APs oer the usual enterprise features
in addition to being capable of operating as a
standalone AP, managed AP or to support the
ZyXEL hybrid wireless controller function and
RADIUS server.
Hybrid Manageability
Simplied Management is achieved when one
of the ZyXEL 3000 Series N AP’s is set to hybrid
controller mode as opposed to the standalone or
managed AP mode, the NWA3160-N, NWA3560-N
and NWA3550-N can centrally manage up to 24
additional APs for diversied applications. The
capability to support a wide range of managed
APs enables network administrators to choose
the best AP suitable for the desired applications,
and the management interface propagates
information to each single AP, helping the sta
to easily oversee all the APs, even from remote
locations.
