3.3.3.2 WEP
1 WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encrypts data frames before transmitting over the
wireless network. Select 64-bit, or 128-bit from the WEP Encryption drop-down list
box. The higher the WEP encryption, the higher the security but the slower the
throughput.
2 You can generate or manually enter a WEP key.
•Enter a Passphrase (up to 32 printable characters) and click Generate. The device
automatically generates WEP keys. One key displays in the Key 1 field. Go to Wireless >
Security if you want to see the other WEP keys.
